FamilySearch.org: Genealogy 101 Online

This class provides an overview of the features available on the world’s largest free genealogy web site: historical records, memories, a collaborative family tree, full length genealogical and historical books, a research wiki, submitted genealogies, and much more. Join this class to learn to use the search tools that are unique to FamilySearch. This event will take place via Zoom. Registration is required and begins April 28.

Presenter Jennifer Baker has been devoted to genealogy research her entire adult life. She earned a Genealogy Librarianship Technical Certificate at Jackson State Community College, and was employed as the staff Lead at Germantown Regional History and Genealogy Center for twelve years. Now retired, Jennifer is serving as a Family History Consultant volunteer at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and as the Newsletter Editor for the Tennessee Genealogical Society.
